Our Client, an International Mining Company urgently requires the following position: MANAGER REGIONAL EXPLORATION Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor Degree (S1) Geologist or Mining Engineer
- Approximately 15 years experience in geological functions with a balanced mix of exploration and mine geology experience, including:
- 5+ years exploration department management experience of group sizes larger than 10 people
- Experience in consultant and contractor management, including direction of resource modelling process, QAQC processes and letting, awarding and management of drilling, survey and other associated contracts.
- Extensive experience in minerals exploration, particularly Cu-Au porphyry systems
- Experience with leadership of the resource modelling process including core-logging, geological interpretations, wireframing and geostatistical applications.
- Computer Literate: MS Office.
Jobs Description and responsibilities will include but not be limited to : - Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations, the Manager Regional Exploration will be accountable for the management of all regional exploration activates outside of the main Tumpangpitu resource development area.
- Success will be achieved through meeting or exceeding the role's key performance indicators by delivering technical excellence, high quality management and team work. A focus on a constant review of activities is essential to ensure short to medium plans and objectives are being met coupled with a strategic focus on long term aims for the project.
- Management of the Regional Exploration team resulting in a committed and motivated workforce that has a continuous improvement focus and complies with all policies and procedures.
- Mentor Geologists and exploration staff in day to day tasks to ensure technical and leadership outputs are maintained to standard.
- Reporting with timely, relevant and comprehensive geological information/data for review and decision making.
- Develop and implement geological policies, procedures, systems and processes that will ensure optimal performance of all aspects of the Regional Exploration function.
- Management of the planning for regional exploration programmes
- Develop geological understanding and model regional exploration targets
- Management of spatial database for regional exploration targets
- Management of all relevant contractors involved in the exploration including drilling and geological consultants.
- Manage, in conjunction with the Manager EH&S, the development and implementation of effective EH&S systems, policies and procedures related to the regional exploration that drive an environmental and safety performance based culture.
- Promote trust, respect, openness and collaboration as the basis for relationships and develop a culture of open communication with management and employees.
- Actively participate and contribute as a member of the Project management team.
- Manage and account for finances, including budgeting, cost control and asset management.
- Manage the ongoing training and development of the regional exploration team
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal requirements, ethical standards and Project policies.
- The successful candidate will be site based on a 28/14 roster from point of hire.

- Perform Kick off meeting with subcontractor to Releasing PO with Company SITAC SOP Reference which mean SITAC is start and will be finished base on Timeline.
- Manage and Control Site Investigation Survey, Site Acquisition process ( Starting PO issued, PO Release to Subcontractor, Site Survey, Site Negotiation Process, Permit Process Land payment process , announce RFC with the site status ( active or On hold due to CP/GV issue ) Dotted line to Roll Out team management, including cost control-budgeting management reference to the Company's Business Process Guidelines & SOP.
- Make sure daily achievement, weekly & monthly target RFI/RFC achievement by the Coordinator (internal team) and Subcontractor as well.
- Checking Legal verification document and all permit document support related to make sure there's no dispute issue in any legal document support or Community permit issue effect the RFC document target and BAST Document / final Acceptance document target.
- Make sure we can have Permit related from the local government (IMB) as a terms of condition to build a tower all around Indonesia.
- Make weekly report database to PD/Vendor and OSP per site progress base on quantity project and the forecast as well.
- Make a system (solving problem system) to forward SITAC (Site Acquisition) process to RFC site until the BAST (handover acceptance certificate), from subcontractor to Tower provider and from Tower provider to the Operator is done, base on Turnkey Business Process.
- If it necessary approach to local government or stake holder if there's permit issue with Local regulation issue (PERDA) effect in our permit progress.
- Define spec for site installation and TSSR form
Requirements: - Minimum Bachelor Degree major in Civil Engineering.
- At least 7 years experience in related field and 3 years in managerial level.
