The Engineer is a member of the project facilities team with subsea installation contract (SIC) management responsibilities. The SIC scope includes the EPCIC of pipelines to the shore; SURF facilities at each FPU and transportation and installation of the project's FPUs. The Lead FPU Installation Engineer position is responsible for overseeing detailed design contract management support procurement, construction, QA and T&I of FPUs. The incumbent is expected to be a safety leader for the work scope. Responsibilities
oOversee the mooring system design and provide installation input to suction piles; off vessel mooring legs and on vessel mooring legs and FPU towing systems oOversee the activities of SIC during the offshore transportation and pre installation of 12 point mooring systems at each FPU location onboard SIC construction vessels. oOversee the installation of SIC contractor mooring/umbilical/SCR/pull-in equipment and installation aids on each FPU in the integration yard. oOversee the recovery connection of on & off vessel mooring legs and final tensioning of each FPU at the design location.
