Demand Planning Manager

Responsibilities:
Jobs & Responsibility

* Understand Customer Requirements
  1. Implement Processes and Systems to effectively understand customers schedules/behavior and forecasts
  2. Implement processes to effectively understand customer orders variations based on the historical data
  3. Implement processes to effectively analyze historical data on customer orders and use the same to predict future trend
  4. Implement systems to effectively be able to forecast and extrapolate customer plans over a period of at least 3 months
  5. Implement process to create alarms system to management in cases of abnormal changes in the customer forecasts potentially affecting capacity, material pipeline i.e. shortages, excess and/or obsolete

* Capacity Planning
  1. Prepare rough cut capacity planning based on capacity plan provided by Production Dept. and demand/forecast from Customer Services Dept
  2. Implement processes to identify well in advance situations when capacity becomes constraint to achieve given forecast
  3. Provide analysis on make VS buy (in house VS outsourcing decision)

* Production Planning/Scheduling
  1. Receive Customers orders via TRIMS/VIPS/SIPS or manual orders issued by Customer Services
  2. Prepare short term and long term production plan based on customer orders and forecasts
  3. Issue Work Order to Production Orders based on Customer Order received from Customer Services
  4. Implement processes to schedule manufacturing to ensure that daily production plan is prepared and issued to production based on available Work Orders
  5. Implement Schedule adherence metrics/schedule attainment monitoring on all Production lines
  6. Track the status of each Orders and provide feedback to Customer Service on the completion status
  7. Ensuring accuracy of production plan done by the entire team and ensure timely updating the MRP system with latest production plan
  8. Lead daily/weekly production plan meeting (MDI) to address related production plan attainment issues

* FG Inventory Management
  1. Implement FG Aging Analysis/Process
  2. Work with CRM to expedite delivery for slow moving FG
  3. Shipping Window Compliance to customers (on Time Delivery)
  4. Implement system to effectively monitor shipping window, such that any potential miss, that could cause customer disruption is immediately identified
  5. Responsible to resolve all such issues and ensure 100% ship window compliance
  6. Implement effective system to resolve Customer Complaint on delivery issues

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree majoring in Industrial Engineer or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of hands son experience in the same field (Demand & Supply planning/PPIC), preferably in MNC with B2B concept
  • Excellent English Communications skills both oral and written
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to coordinate and drive
  • Computer literate, ability for details and strong analytical skills

  • Monitor compensation aspects for promotion and merit program to ensure in line with policies
  • Monitor effectiveness of C&B programs and recommend changes

Qualifications
  • Has a Bachelor degree in Math/Statistics.
  • Has min. 2 years of experience in Compensation & Benefit Analyst or as HR Consultant
