Monitor and supervise day-to-day in-house shared supports or consultant activities and identify and implement corrective action as appropriate. Manage the interfaces between contributing stakeholders, company shared supports functions, the asset, specialty consultants, relevant authorities and 3rd party business entity. Ensure company assurance process and be vocal point in all project assurance activities. Provide daily supports to the programme, including organizing meetings, preparing meeting notes and consolidations. Monitor and supervise the preparation, review and approval of project and engineering deliverables to ensure inputs from key stakeholders are incorporated appropriately. Prepare documentation recording noteworthy discussions with internal or external stakeholders. Act as a vocal technical representation with the Project and Engineering Team Leader in technical discussion with both internal and external stakeholders, including company center. Monitor and expedite follow up actions raised from coordination discussions, both with internal and external stakeholders where appropriate. Working seamlessly with consultant to ensure issues are recognized and proactively addressed and managed properly. Manage consultants, represent Company and ensure objective and value of the project are understood and inherent in their works. Maintain progress alignment of tasks against programme plans, recording which elements have progressed, which ones need strenghening, and working with the related functions; Projects, Operations, S&OR, CE&A, Legal, Marketing and Finance / Business Development) to ensure the rigor from all aspects. Develop program scheduling, monitor and control schedule

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
  • At minimum Bachelor's Degree majoring in Civil Engineering or equivalent from reputable university
  • Minimum 10 years project engineering experiences, coordinating multi tasks with several functions, Projects, Operations, Engineering, etc;
  • Technical bias : Gas Processing, LNG Processing;
  • Experienced in Oil & Gas industry, LNG or Petrochemical Plant with interest of exposure in community and government relations, social & economic development;
  • Strong planning, interpersonal, communication, influencing and organization skills.
  • Capable to define and prioritize issues, solve problems through networking with internal or external sources.
  • Strive to identify opportunities for innovation, cost efficiency and effectiveness of coordination.
  • Ability to interface effectively with people at different levels, both internal and external with ranging cultural backgrounds.

Our client is a Indonesian Oil and Gas organization, who has recently focus its activities on the development of its upstream capabilities. As part of their expansion, we are looking for a Senior production engineer, who will be a key point of contact between the subsurface and drilling staff. The position will be based in Jakarta.

Responsibilities

Provide production engineering advice and support to maximize the offshore and onshore operations' efficiency.

Provides production data and reports on asset performance to senior management, business partners and government.

Actively participate in the Production Optimization process.

Determine reservoir performance for different recovery techniques

Perform production enhancement activities for oil and gas wells.

Key liaison between subsurface, drilling and operations.

Mentor more junior production and operations engineers.

Requirements

BSc or Master Degree in Petroleum Engineering,

10+ years experience in oil and gas operations, production engineering , subsurface or completions environment.

Experience in Waterflooding

Computer literacy: Petroleum Experts Suite Fluent

Spoken and written English
